The world didn't end after all. But stay safe out there, everyone!

Holiday Hazards Infographic Well, the world didn't end after all.  Which I'm sure is disappointing to many people who kept harping on it and seemed almost gleeful at the prospect.

But there are still hazards out there.  Specifically, hazards associated with the holiday season.  So stay safe!

  1. I am always shocked when I read the amount of money spent by an average US family. I suspect I over-bought for the kids and I still am nowhere near that amount!

Hope you have a safe and happy Christmas, Pamela!

    1. I am a terrible Grinch. I buy for my niece and nephew and my parents. That's it. And I don't go overboard.

Thank you Chris, and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

  2. Oh wow! $1500 on gifts! For a family. We're not grinches here, but we spend far less than that. I also overspent on the kids. One of mine wanted something that turned out to be over our budgeted amount by about $40, so had to be fair to all the kids, and overspend on all three! But much of what I bought was practical in some way. Some of it is clothing, and items they will need in university next year. So, I don't feel too badly about it.

    Pamela, have a merry Christmas!
